Title: Systems Administrator
Overview:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day corporate IT system administration and support for the organization's computer, network, and information systems. This includes front and back end system administration, management of data security environment, VoIP administration, and other technical responsibilities. You will also play a key role with the daily operation of the data center, LAN/WAN maintenance, patch remediation, server monitoring, and serve as last tier support to the daily service desk.
- Manage all aspects of the computer system & networking platform
- Troubleshoot network & system issues
- Monitor active network, server and cloud infrastructure
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
- Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
- Document all technical procedures and user guides
- Help develop our cybersecurity maturity and posture
- Provide hardware recommendations
Qualifications:
- Manage Windows based servers in a vCenter environment.
- Monitor server and network performance and remediate issues.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and respond to high level incidents/tickets.
- Be a key contributor to scaling, upgrading, and management of existing and new systems into our corporate network and data center operations.
- Ensure uptime and performance of key software systems and WAN infrastructure.
- Follows policies and procedures related to change management, SOX data collection, security, and backup processes.
- Knowledge of everything Windows including Windows 10, 2016, 2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.
- General cisco switch knowledge including WAN concepts.
- VOIP administration.
- Linux administration and familiarity helpful - Red Hat/CentOS.
- PHP, LAMP stack general familiarity.
- General SQL familiarity.
- Customer oriented and team-driven.
- Certifications and Education:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Windows Server administration experience required.
- Microsoft training ideal.
